We kicked off 2026 in full force with a live bulk packaging demo event on January 14 and 15 at the Pattyn Bulk Packaging facilities in Deerlijk, Belgium.
The event focused on a bulk packaging line specially developed for the potato industry, designed to safeguard product flow when downtime occurs on the primary packaging line. In such cases, the secondary packaging line seamlessly takes over, ensuring continuity in bulk packaging operations.
How does reusable octabin packaging support continuous bulk production?
The showcased packaging line was specifically engineered to enable the reuse of octabins up to six times. Thanks to this automated bulk packaging solution, processors can guarantee packaging continuity, reduced waste, and improved sustainability.
During the event, visitors experienced the line up close through multiple live demonstrations. Our bulk packaging specialists explained how easy the solution is to implement, while highlighting its efficiency, reliability, and sustainable design.
