GUNNAR DAFGARD AB, was founded in 1937 by Gunnar Dafgård and is Sweden’s largest private food producer with customers throughout Europe and main market being Scandinavia.
The company produces all kinds of foods but the biggest sellers are Swedish meatballs,
pizza, lasagna and ready meals. GDAB’s own brands include Billy’s Pizza, Familjen
Dafgard and Gorby’s.
Mr. Christoffer Sundberg, Technical Production Manager commented:” We
were looking to improve the flexibility, quality and security of our packaging
process and to increase our capacity. Therefore we required a second
automated packaging line for baguettes, ½ baguettes, artisan breads, small breads and frozen par-baked products including one palletizing cell for the two lines.
