As a result of continuous growth the past few years, Pattyn Bakery Division in France needed a new office and new production facilities. After 1 year of construction the new premises are finalized and a moving date has been set. On the first of February, Pattyn Bakery Division moves from Maleville to the Industrial area of la Glèbe in Savignac.
Continuous growth
The last 16 years Pattyn Bakery Division has known a steady growth, from 35 employees in 2002 to more than 100 employees today. In 2016 the decision was taken quickly to move to a new building. When choosing a new location it was important to involve the employees, which could choose between 4 different locations. The Industrial area “la Glèbe”, only a 15 minutes drive from Maleville, was the preferred option.
Pattyn Bakery Division had the opportunity to obtain the required surface for both a new office and new production facilities in the preferred area. The new location has a surface of 16.508m² of which 5350m² workspace. This is twice as much as compared to the current 2800m² workspace.
The new energy neutral building has spacious meeting rooms, additional training rooms, a large production hall and a dedicated demo area with a full scale counting line for testing.
