The current Corona crisis is a huge challenge for everybody in our society and has a big impact on our people and our company. Based upon recommendations from the WHO and the relevant local authorities, Pattyn has taken all possible necessary measures to protect its employees and others from the Coronavirus and to keep its manufacturing companies and businesses running as normal as possible. These measures include precautionary measures for all of its employees, restricting contact and business-related travel and additional safety measures in all its divisions.
In the light of the latest developments concerning the global spread of COVID-19, Pattyn had to reduce the production at its manufacturing plant in Savignac, France and Bruges, Belgium, making sure that the employees can continue to work in the safest possible circumstances. All customer services, spare parts, help desk, sales and project management remain operational and work remotely wherever possible.
Based upon the present circumstances, Pattyn anticipates that it may take some time for production activities to become fully operational again. As it is unclear when the production activities will be at full speed again, Pattyn is unable at this point in time to predict what the impact will be on the production and deliveries.
Pattyn will provide additional updates as the situation develops.
