The multiple filling stations combine high capacity with high accuracy

The VWF-11-G is an innovative weighfiller, specially designed for the filling of cut, expanded and reconstituted tobacco into:

• C48 and C90 tobacco cases
• bins or plywood containers for internal use or storage

This modular stand alone machine can be integrated in an existing line or installed in a complete automated Pattyn packaging line, run by only one operator.

Working Principle

• From a belt conveyor tobacco is supplied towards the main vibratory conveyor
• This central vibratory conveyor feeds the 2 different filling stations, located under the vibrator
• The lined case is automatically fed in by a chain conveyor to the first filling station
• Before the shutter valve opens and the filling starts, a "sealed, flexible passage" is created towards the case
• During filling, the case is placed on a lateral shaker
• Once 70% of the target weight is reached, the shutter valve closes and the filling stops
• Simultaneously, the filled case is fed out, while a new empty case is fed in
• After the first filling station, the tobacco is compressed with a pneumatical press using vacuum technology
  (only for C48 and C90)
• At the second filling station the case is filled up to 97% of the target weight
• In a second step, one of the 2 shutter valves closes and the target weight is then reached with a very small flow of tobacco, with an accuracy of 200gr
